Canoeing and Kayaking are dangerous sports and therefore should not be attempted without properly qualified persons being present.

Safety equipment and first aid should be easily available for use at all times. Water levels can vary on an hourly basis making the conditions unsuitable.

All major rapids should be inspected beforehand.

Hazards within the water may be invisible or unknown. It is recommended that paddling is undertaken with more than one person who has knowledge of first aid experience and the grade of water being paddled.

The club is not responsible for private trips involving club members.
