Membership and Fees

Our membership year runs from January 1st to December 31st

Adult fee is £20

Youth fee is £10

Family membership is one adult fee plus £5. Or if there are children only, one youth fee plus £5

1. Free B.C.U. Certificates and Badges on passing Tests.

2. Reduced fees on using all equipment whilst out on group activities

3. Free instruction, both basic and advanced, whilst on Group run events.

4. Bi-monthly news and program sheet.

5. Personal accident insurance whilst out with the group.

6. For those who hold the B.C.U.'s 2 star award, and who are over the age of 18, an arrangement has been made to allow you to train at the base using your own equipment, at times when the group is not running a session, at a reduced rate. Full details on application to the secretary Email Dave

7. Regular Wednesday and Thursday evening club sessions at Cheshunt from April - end of September.

8. Indoor pool sessions, September to June.

9. Canoe storage at Cheshunt Herts Young Mariners Base, in our club racks (nominal fee charged). Private canoes will have a rack number of their own and a lock (you will be given a key). Access will be during Group sessions.(Canoes are stored at the owner's risk and should be insured, for third party). No claim can be made against HYMB.

This log is designed so that you can record evidence of expeditions, experience and activities in preparation for tests assessments within the B.C.U. awards scheme.
