BC SUP Support Module 5th details on website.
Level crossing gates when trains are running on time, usually open on the hour, 1/2 hour & the 1/4’s. I am told they also open at other times. Please bear this in mind when you are aiming for a particular session time.
Herts Canoe Lifeguards meet at HYMB most Mondays (But not the 8th April) 7-9pm.
We are encouraging Edmonton members to take part in their lifeguard training sessions. From 15th April – 20th May (Excepting Bank Holidays) they will be running a SESA course.
“The purpose of the award is to provide the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to work as part of a water safety team at any water based event where open water swimming is involved. Whilst this award does not qualify the candidate as a BCU Lifeguard it does provide them with the skills relevant to the open water swimming event environment.” It has now become the required base qualification at most water/swim events.
Costs would be (I’m presuming we are moving forwards with the HCL/Edmonton twinning):
£5 per session for the four weeks – total of £20
Then £9 for BC /£12 for non-BC members’ certification fees. Further details from firstname.lastname@example.org
